Francisco Lachowski (born 13 May 1991, Curitiba, Brazil) is a Brazilian model. Francisco started his career after he won a modeling contest Supermodel of the World in Sao Paulo, Brazil in late 2008 for which he was awarded a contract with Ford Models. There was no looking back for Francisco after winning that contest. Photographed for Vanity Teen by Marley Kate from New York, his instant exposure and popularity were evidently a result of his quirky charisma and beaming youth, while still maintaining the professionalism and perfect ‘look’ that every agent and client could possibly ask for. As he began to grow into a young adult, his developing physique and experience in the modeling world proved him worthy for international success. His rapid rise to fame earned him a campaign for Dior. In 2009 he did his first runway shows in Milan and Paris, walking for designers like Gucci and Dior Homme. He has also walked for Versace, Dolce & Gabanna, D Squared, Roberto Cavalli, Mugler, Armani and many more and opened for shows such as Ermanno Scervino. Lachowski has also appeared on several magazine covers including Homme Essential, Carbon Copy, Made in Brazil and Chaos. Alongside this he has appeared in high fashion editorials for GQ, V Magazine, Vogue and FHM. Francisco has also proved to be popular in campaigns for T.I for Men, DKNY, Lacoste, Armani Exchange, Etro, D Squared, Triton, and Review. Francisco Lachowski has been signed with many Modeling agencies since he started modeling after winning the FORD Brasil Supermodel of the World contest in Sao Paulo. In fact he is currently signed with 9 agencies which keeps him very busy, especially during Fashion Week.

  When Francisco Lachowski is in Brazil he likes to spend time with family and friends. Francisco’s father Roberto Lachowski is Polish. Francisco is familiar with both Polish foods as well as Brazilian foods. He loves his mothers cooking and said in an interview that his mothers empanadas are his favorite dish. Francisco has two older sisters and says he is considered “the little boy” of the family. Francisco’s mother is Maria Lachowski.

“OK my surname “Lachowski” it’s from Poland. I’m Polish. I’m half Polish my father’s is ah descendents is ah Polish descendents, all like one hundred percent. I’m like fifty percent Polish part of my father and like my mother like I’m from Brazil, like and my mother it’s I don’t know the mix It’s like ah German or Portuguese.”

Francisco Lachowski enjoys playing Tennis, Surfing and a host of other Sports. When asked about his ability in the sports he plays Francisco said ” I’m good, I think I’m good.” Francisco’s favorite football team in Brazil is “Atlético Paranaense” from Curitiba.

 

 

 

Francisco is engaged to the beautiful Jessiann Gravel Beland a fashion model signed with Models 1 London. Francisco met Jessiann while they were both working in Japan. Francisco was in Japan for a shoot with HUGE Magazine. The couple lives in Montréal, Canada and expect to have there first child (Milo Lachowski) born around March 19, 2013. (Baby Milo was born on March 25, 2013). Francisco was pleased to know that his first child would be a boy, but said he would have been  just as happy if it was a girl. Francisco proposed to Jessiann with a Cartier engagement ring. Francisco & Jessiann are featured together in the “Dress to Kill magazine” with Jessiann very much pregnant.
